Hey thanks for checking out my blog. It's still in the making (as you can see) but I hope to create it into something big. Hope you check this site often, and I'll talk to you on twitter!

Hey, Brian -- we're Twitter buddies, so I thought I'd just check out your site here. It's very interesting, so nice job! I also got my psychology degree (years ago) just out of interest in the subject, never with the thought of using it professionally. I never really did much with it, but I certainly enjoyed all of the study and how it enriched my understanding and interpersonal insight. A couple of my favorite sites lately are the Postsecret blog (postsecret.blogspot.com) -- one most everyone has heard of by now, but it's captivating to read the things people keep as secrets, some funny, some sad -- and gregbennick.com, who is a motivational speaker who has also co-produced a couple of very critically acclaimed movies on personal philosophy, how we deal with our mortality, and why we war on each other, which are all fascinating looks into sociology, too. Just thought I'd share since you might find them interesting, too, as our interests seem a lot alike. Keep up the good work on your blog!

Brian,

I have attempted to define the term SHOUT at:

http://www.psychologytoday.com/node/32281/comments

Did I get it right? Do correct my comment if I'm wrong.

Steve

PS I tried to subscribe but had no luck. Can you simply add my email address to your list?

Thank you.

G'day Steven
Thank you for the encouragement, I really needed it. I will definitely check your site out.
If you liked what I had to say, subscribe or bookmark. I'll be updating frequently.
And yes, Australia is a fantastic place to live (except the severe dust storm today)

Hello Brian

(or should I say: Gawday Mite?)

I like your idea of creating a psychology site and I sincerely believe that you can provide readers with many significant insights. You may be interested in a piece I recently wrote that attempts the same end:

http://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/look-it-way/200908/intro-psych-roadmap-life

Good luck in your efforts.

Steve

PS I've been to your part of the world many times and love it. If I didn't already live in Southern California, I'd consider immigrating.
